Meadow Inspirations

The gentleness of a meadow is something I look for in my clothing in the summertime. Mixtures of blues, stripes, lilac and nude tones are my favourite right now. Colorful scarves and dangling jewellery.  Here are some snap shots influenced by a scandinavian meadow

Soothing whispers tease the grass,
as it reflects the sunlight like shards of glass.
I feel it tease me with it's rays,
as into the clouds I dreamily gaze.

The blades that tickle my nose from where I lay,
as I say hello to the dawning day.
Relaxing amidst the flowers that grace,
the meadow with a colorful face.

Hearing the serenades in the leaves,
that end at the opening of the trees.
Birds that on the edge of this place,
their melodies sweetly lace.

My ears with tunes not touched upon by piano keys,
that fill the air and dance on the breeze.
Singing songs of the meadows love,
for the sun that warms it from above.

Rest assured the meadows' love doesn't go unnoted,
as the sun favors the meadow,keeping it warmly coated.
Windy breeze stir up petals that fly,
for a brief instant then settle on back on their meadow beds and sigh.

As I lay on this mass of grassy green,
I simply exist and thrive on the touching scene.
Taking in the beauty my eyes behold,
giving me a story to tell and let unfold.
Influencing me to descriptively write,
about such an awe-inspiring sight
