I love the simplicity of Yamamori Architect & Associates designs- I think it is quite similar to scandinavian design with its clear cut details and open space areas. Looking around me I think this sinks perfectly into the Finnish landscape. Right now I am sitting on my balcony, in the sunshine listening to the seaguls and strangely I can here the sound of bagpipes playing in the distance. Totally soothing and calm, just like this design.
All about the enviroment experience, this modern beach house emphasises the view by overlooking a bay and a fishing village. It is designed to create a sense of floating in mid-air among nature and has a ulta modern floorplan.' This open concept home design still offers relative privacy and a multi-level layout, while enjoying the unobstructed views.' Moreover, it is visible through glass from top to bottom with open sky and horizontal views. This amazing house would look incredible if decorated with both old and new furniture to give it some character. I would use a lot of white colours sprinkled with hints of brown. How perfect would it be to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine and salty olives. Something to dream about..here are some photos!
