Miami Part I

Hey everyone!
Its quite the shock coming from +35C to this Finnish fall weather... although I must admit, I'm loving the air freshness and cousy atmoshpere instead of the intense humidity. It was a great trip to say the least and before we left, I graduated with the grade- Eximia cum laude approbatur and was so happy to relax and enjoy myself. Although I have to say- people going to Maimi for the first time may be a bit shocked because of the image it has built for itself.. Its quite an overstatement, I mean its a nice place but there is only so much to do on Southbeach.  If you go there, definately rent a car so you can drive around...At the moment, many hotels are bankrupt and during low season the place can be really quite. Also the general food culture is not to my taste,  but there are some exceptions with spectacular restaruants (ex. Nobu) and the weather is heavenly warm (although unpredictable at this time of year) and a wonderful place to go on holiday.

Thus, our trip was absolutely fabulous, where we discovered the Eastern Carribeans after being in Maimi. In Miami, we sunbathed, went to the zoo and outlets and walked around South Beach exploring it for the second time. We spent "together time" which was nice and romantic before our friends arrived.

At the zoo-
This palce was huge so we rented a biscyle to paddle around it where we managed to almost drive over a squirral and a snake and I spilled coke all over Mr. N's shorts :) hehe despite that it was a super cute day.
Our rented car- it was HUGEEE

Cute gum cases I'm going to put in the car and carry in my handbags

We found a small sushi place ( I think it was called sushi house on washington ave.) that is perfect for takeaways that we endulged in bed when we still had our jetleg.
