This was the last of our visiting islands, St. Martin on the northeast of the Caribbeans that is 87 square kilometres. The island is divided roughly 60/40 between France
and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, but when we asked our taxi driver, he said little speak Dutch where English is more common.

new sunglasses from St. Thomas.. so many freckles from the sun! |
We went on a catamaran excursion to Eagle Island, a small private beach where we snorkeled and sunbathed. We saw a huge turtle from the boat and a dolphin on our way back..our crew members gave us drinks and made us dance "YMCA" even though there were huge tides. After this our heads were swaying for a couple of days...

This island is famous for its airport that is located right next to a beach- here u can see an airport landing to it... |
After this we explored the main town which is the Dutch side (Philipsburg) where Mr. N and I took a jet-ski ride while my brother and Ms. P enjoyed a lovely rosé lunch by the shore.
