Asparagus & Coco Chanel

 Coco Chanel's Secret War 

The last couple of days have been incredibly warm here in Helsinki, and I have been enjoying the sun through long terrace lunches in town with friends.  Yesterday my mom & I celebrated an early mothers day by spending quality time.  We walked around town, shopped a little and enjoyed a cheese platter and a couple of glasses of sparkly on Strindberg's terrace enjoying the flow of people and tourists walking by. It was so lovely and warm when I got home, I decided to migrate to the balcony with my new book and some asparagus with scrimps and a pouched egg. I can't wait to get my hands on this new book- "Sleeping with the enemy: Coco Chanel's secret war" by Hal Vaughan. There are many Chanel books out there, but this one caught my eye because of its different perspective by focusing on C.C life during the Nazi occupation of France and the the time after WWII. I took a small glimpse of it yesterday and it seems really interesting and I have to say, the cover is stunning!

Yesterday I was wearing a Gant dress & scarf that I bought from the Ystävämyynti (friend sale) and a hat from Max & Co.

The scarf ( in front) is actually Mr. N's.. I just decided to try it out with my outfit
