120 % Lino

Toasted sunflower seeds with a pinch of salt add a great taste to natural yogart

Good Morning Sweet Readers!

Today is going to be one of the warmest days in Helsinki, its already so warm outside and not a draft of wind in sight. I'm in a great mood, my foot is recovering at fast speed and today a lovely friend is coming over for brunch and sunbathing. I'm already sitting on the balcony and enjoying the quite city, sipping on my morning tea and enjoying a blueberry breakfast. Everyday my herbs are slowly growing and soon Mr. N and I will be leaving to the summer place for a relaxed mid-summer.

Today I got to thinking how time really just flies by and we should really enjoy each minute as its the last. Its sad watching today's news with increase in violence ( esp amongst teenagers) and evidently it seems that the root to all of this is experiencing suppression or a form of bullying .. so people should really be more kinder and take others into consideratain and overall have a more positive attitude on life to avoid such matters. As I've become older, I've learned to appreciate the small things in life, yes I enjoy my occasional shopping sprees, but life is so short, so a happy outtake on life is something we all should adapt as the world surrounded with great adventures, close or far, we just have to know where to look. I'm loving these early Saturday's and enjoying this quiet time to myself before the city awakes...

On a hot day like this, it feels great to wear light clothes so today's outfit of the day is a 120% lino dress from Valkoinen Elefantti (Korkeavuorenkatu). I call this the "mille-feuille" dress with an indian influence with all the layers and detials. This dress would look great with baige boots (a bit cowboy style) for a causual sheek look. All these dresses have been hand dyed that makes each dress charasmatic and differnet from one another.

Enjoy this hot day and remember to put sun block on! I've actually realized that I tan much better with sun block on- who knew?!!

xoxo
