Ballet & Strawberry Lunch

Romeo and Juliet ( John Cranko) was beautiful. Maria Baranova and Tiina Myllymäki both played Juliet's role and I think they did an amazing job. The overall theme was very theatrical with extravagant costumes,  where I loved the delicate dancing scenes between the two lovers. It was  wonderfully romantic even though the storyline has a tragic ending. One of my favourite parts of the ballet was the music behind it all, the orchestra played so beautifully that was lead by Benjamin Pope. Before the ballet, I enjoyed a light strawberry salad, listened to music and  rammed through my closet thinking of what to wear!
