We have had beautiful weather all weekend and I have been enjoying my time outdoors as much as possible! Friday began with a 10 km walk at Salmi and a round of 9 holes of golf- I have to say my muscles were a little swore the following morning :). On saturday, my friend and I took a powerwalk around the city that took over an hour and after made lunch and sunbathed on my balcony. We made a fresh tuna tuna salad and nibbled on watermelon and strawberries. Now thats what summers are made out of =) We had such a great time, we talked about everything and anything and I realized how great it is to have such wonderful friends. Never take them for granted <3 So we got our tan on, listened to music and had a great time. In the evening Mr. N and I went for dinner at his mom's place eating in her peaceful garden. For dessert we ate ice-cream and picked more strawberries from her yard! Yum! We got home quite late, which you don't even realize because it is so light outside- the day was finished with a walk with bella around the area for the sailing world championships.
Anyways, it's not so sunny (yet at least) today and I'm about to go make breakfast. My muscles are even more swore today and we are going to go play golf in the evening, oh dear! Here's a health tip I heard yesterday- every morning drink 2 litres of water half an hour before eating breakfast, as apparently it ensures that the metabolic waste (kuona-aine) removes faster from your body. So, I started today and in fact its probably really good idea in this heat as it prevents dehyration. Have a good day everyone, I'm off to make tea!
